I’m Mathew (he/him)! I was born and raised just South of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Bitten by the theatre bug at the age of 7, I began my training at the Pittsburgh CLO Academy where I participated in my first musicals and enrolled in all sorts of Theater courses. I spent the rest of my adolescence at the Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School, where I performed in almost thirty productions over the course of six years.

For college, I became a proud Penn State Nittany Lion where I appeared in multiple musicals and served as a swing, dance captain, fight captain, assistant choreographer, and assistant director. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with my BFA in Musical Theatre. Since then, I have had the honor of working for The Muny, Pittsburgh CLO, KC Starlight, Arizona Theatre Company and more! Most Notably, I've been a swing on the FUNNY GIRL National Tour, as well as the A BEAUTIFUL NOISE North American Tour.

Offstage, I am a total doughnut connoisseur, national parks lover, and vinyl collector- be sure to ask my favorites when you see me next, I have almost 100 now!
NEWS
​​​​​​​This fall, Mathew will be playing role of Fitz in the regional premiere of WILD CHILD at Laguna Playhouse. This new musical is written by Dan Marshall and Julianne Warwick Davis and will be directed by John Simpkins.

In 2026, Mathew was on the road with the North American Tour of A BEAUTIFUL NOISE, the Neil Diamond Musical, as a swing who also covered the roles of Fred, Tommy, Bert, and Kieve Diamond.
​
In 2024 and 2025, Mathew traveled ​​​​​​​​​​the US with the First National Tour of FUNNY GIRL. He was a swing, covered Mr. Keeney and Mr. Ziegfeld, and was the Assistant Dance Captain!
