I’m Mathew (he/him)! I was born and raised just South of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Bitten by the theatre bug at the age of 7, I began my training at the Pittsburgh CLO Academy where I participated in my first musicals and enrolled in all sorts of Theater courses. I spent the rest of my adolescence at the Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School, where I performed in almost thirty productions over the course of six years.
In 2019, I became a proud Penn State Nittany Lion where I appeared in multiple musicals and served as a swing, dance captain, fight captain, assistant choreographer, and assistant director. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with my BFA in May of 2023. Since then, I have had the honor of working for The Muny, Pittsburgh CLO, KC Starlight, Arizona Theatre Company and more! Most Notably, I've been a swing on the FUNNY GIRL National Tour, as well as the A BEAUTIFUL NOISE North American Tour.
Outside of Theatre, I am a total doughnut connoisseur, national parks lover, and vinyl collector- be sure to ask my favorites when you see me next, I have over 80 now!
NEWS
In 2024 and 2025, Mathew traveled the US with the First National Tour of FUNNY GIRL. He was a swing, covered Mr. Keeney and Mr. Ziegfeld, and was the Assistant Dance Captain!
Last summer, he appeared in the ensemble of Disney's FROZEN at Pittsburgh CLO,
Kansas City Starlight, and the Lied Center of Nebraska Repertory Theatre!
In 2026, Mathew is on the road with the North American Tour of A BEAUTIFUL NOISE, the Neil Diamond Musical, as a swing who also covers the roles of Fred, Tommy, Bert, and Kieve Diamond.
